This versatile dressing was designed for multiple purposes. It can be used to treat hand, foot, face and circumference burns. The foil pack can also be cut and used as a sleeve to cover an arm or leg.
A foam dressing soaked in Burnshield sterile trauma hydrogel, supplied in a foil pouch. Burnshield is a sterile trauma hydrogel which can be used for minor burns and scalds. With its high water content, Burnshield Hydrogel cools and soothes by absorbing and dissipating heat which minimises skin damage. Burnshield Gel is a white to off-white gel which turns clear once applied. This allows for monitoring of wound progression. It is non-stick and will not adhere to the wound. It is non toxic and non irritant. Safe to use on Children.

How To Apply
- Standard Use:
- Open the sterile package.
- Remove the Foam Dressing from package.
- Apply the Foam Dressing over the wound.
- Secure the Foam dressing with a non-adherent bandage.
- Re-apply Burnshield Hydrogel to the dressing to prevent the wound from dehydrating.
- Seek medical attention if needed.
- Face:
- Open the sterile package.
- Remove the Foam Dressing from package.
- Tear the foam to accommodate the face.
- Apply the Foam Dressing over the wound.
- Secure with a non-adherent bandage around the forehead.
- Re-apply Burnshield Hydrogel to the dressing to prevent the wound from dehydrating.
- Seek medical attention if needed.
- Foot / Hand:
- Cut open packaging on cut-line to receive foot / hand.
- Do not remove the Foam Dressing from package.
- Insert foot / hand into packaging.
- Secure packaging with a bandage.
- Seek medical attention if needed.
- Circumference Burns:
- Tear open packaging at both ends.
- Do not remove the Foam Dressing from the package.
- Insert arm / leg into packaging.
- Secure packaging at both ends with a bandage.
- Seek medical attention if needed.
