HEAD BLOCK IMMOBILISER

The head block immobiliser is used to secure a patient’s head and neck to minimise movement especially during transportation. Our head block immobiliser is compatible with and can be secured to both our spine board x-ray translucent-adult and trauma board. The head block immobiliser consists of two blocks for either side of the head and straps to be fitted over the forehead and chin. The head blocks have holes for the patient’s ears, which will help with ear pressure and to detect if there is possibly any bleeding out of the ears.
